Broektea Rotterdam BV was established in 1988 by the current director Mr. Ab van den Broek. He earned his stripes with three major Dutch tea-trading companies. After gaining experience for more than two decades, he found it the right time to start his own business. At first he started to sell tea to European buyers, by now he runs a company that sells tea to customers worldwide.

Our head office is located in Nieuwerkerk a/d IJssel, close to the port of Rotterdam. This is the commercial heart of the organization. All strategic decisions are made from here.

There are very experienced traders working at Broektea Rotterdam BV, who, between them, have over a century experience in international tea trading. We believe that our well balanced combination of senior employees mixed with young people is a competitive advantage. As our relations with suppliers and customers are long and well-established, we can offer them continuity and consistency far into the future.

All of our commercial staff is well qualified in the art of tea tasting. In our tasting room our experts daily taste numerous samples of all tea varieties. We carefully compare samples at purchase, on shipping and arrival at our warehouse and post production. Due to our direct internal communication lines, we have a very high handling speed.

We keep most of our stock at Steinweg/Handelsveem BV, a certified well known warehouse in the port of Rotterdam, with a tea-storage capacity of over 3000 m².

Over the years we have become experts in tea blending. Moreover, Broektea Rotterdam BV has very close contacts with all major tea producing countries and markets, therefore we can guarantee you the best prices and services!
